Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in San Bernadino, California.

Job Description & Requirements

• 36 hours per week
• Shift : 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type : Travel

12x RN's needed ~ $2538 / wk

# beds : They are licensed for 44 beds but they are currently using 36 -

Certs : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required, CCRN preferred

Ratios : 1 : 2 or 1 : 1

EMR : Cerner Power chart

Charge Nurse : yes - they do not take a patient assignment

Nurse Aides : No nurse aides but they do have a unit tech that does secretary duties, equipment duties, etc.

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend, Fri, Sat, Sun (for both days and nights)

Holidays : Yes- work them in with perm staff rotation - that is when they are needed most so travelers should expect to work holidays

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Tele / Monitor Techs : 44 Monitors hardwired - GE - they do have a monitor tech but no centralized monitoring

Drips : Vasopressors, Nitro, Heparin, etc.

Vents : Yes

Shifts : 0645-1915 / 1845-0715. 12 hr shifts, no self scheduling

Floating : Yes- to Tele & ER for ICU Holds

Floor specific orientation : 1 day of orientation on ICU and one shifts on the Tele / stepdown unit
