Your Impact
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive part-time Railroad Construction Oversight Inspector to represent and safeguard railroad interests in infrastructure projects and maintenance activities. This part-time role involves conducting site visits, preparing on-site reports, and ensuring that all work affecting railroad operations aligns with safety, operational, and regulatory standards.

Here's What You'll Need
Substantial years of experience in railroad infrastructure, structural engineering, or inspection oversight.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Strong understanding of railroad operations, structural systems, and regulatory frameworks.
Experience working with public agencies, contractors, and engineering consultants.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness and ability to travel to project locations in the continental U.S. approximately 80% of working time.
Possess a valid driving license.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in preparing field reports and using inspection software.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to conduct site visits in various weather conditions and terrains.
Comfortable working near active rail lines and in industrial environments.
Posted Salary Range : Minimum $100,000.00 to $120,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
