Responsibilities & Expectations :

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with a strong mechanical background to perform service, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment. This role emphasizes mechanical work while also requiring foundational electrical skills.  IPS Field Service Technicians demonstrate strong repair skills and a commitment to providing an Unmatched Customer Experience.

• Perform mechanical service and repair on AC / DC motors, gearboxes, and related equipment
• Install, remove, and align AC and DC electric motors, set air gaps, torque critical components, replace bearings, and maintain seals
• Conduct preventive maintenance and mechanical inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Perform minor electrical testing using portable devices (Megger®, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, DLRO) as required
• Clean mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment utilizing bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning
• Read precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to ensure mechanical tolerances
• Collaborate effectively with team members to accomplish mutual goals
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures
• Maintain a professional environment and provide excellent customer-facing communication
• Complete assigned work in compliance with company policies and procedures
