About the Student Information Systems Coordinator Position :
- The Student Information Systems Coordinator supports data collection, quality, systems implementation, and maintenance and supports reporting on school culture and academic data and non-academic data for the region.

Assist with both student and staff recruitment and engagement- including events, home visits, calls home, and other determined and related requirementsKnow that your role, professional development, org wide meetings, etc. may require you to travel around Denver to other KIPP Campuses, our Home Office, or other KIPP or PD eventsAssist with other duties as assigned (such as but not limited to, lunch duty, arrival / dismissal duty, bathroom duty, hallway duty, school support duties, etc.) Data ProcessesData systems implementation and maintenance :Data systems are implemented and maintained to ensure schools and staff can access them and all issues are resolved within 24 hoursData quality : Schools are implementing use of data systems with fidelity, inputting 100% data regularly and accuratelyData reporting : Internal and external data reports are produced accurately and on-time and support organizational decision-makingData privacy : System for student data privacy is strong and in compliance with local and federal lawsData Audits : Core data systems are routinely audited to ensure all data remains in compliance with Denver Public Schools, KIPP Colorado, and federal requirementsCapacity-building : A self-sufficient data inputting and reporting model is implemented across the region, where staff can more easily and independently use data to drive decision-making Data SystemsMaintains knowledge of Infinite Campus (IC), Clever, Illuminate, and other data systems specific to KIPP ColoradoManages planning for, implementation of, and use of school-based data systemsForecasts schools’ system license, support, and infrastructure needs and communicates with vendors as neededOrganizes reporting for some external organizationsPlans and manages data quality control processes, including auditsCoordinates documentation of data collection, management, and integration processesSupports schools in reporting for report cards, progress reports, gradebooks, and school culture dataUnderstands data privacy laws and policies and implements aligned systems supportEmploys professional learning and coaching best practices in support and capacity-building of school-based and regional staffAnalyzes culture and non-academic data for schools and regional staffOversee Identity Access Management (IAM) for Infinite Campus and core academic platforms and systems to ensure accurate access levels are maintained for users based on role type.Train and assist district personnel at all levels on the proper and correct use and access of Infinite Campus systems advanced featuresMaintain documentation of security infrastructure related to Infinite Campus to ensure accurate retrieval of data for reporting purposesMaintain confidentiality of all system access and user requestsMaintain documentation of core workstreams based on retention policies and proceduresAdhere to all current security access policies and proceduresAssist with testing and verification of SIS vendor software updates prior to release to productionAssist with troubleshooting reported system issues and reporting issues to vendor if neededAssist all areas of Information Systems support staff by providing phone coverage and user support as needed Role Level Specifics, Scope of Work, and Level of ResponsibilityFor more about how you’ll lead at this level, please visit the KIPP Colorado Role Levels Matrix (this is an internal document, only) About a Successful Candidate About the skills and qualifications you will bring to this role :High school diploma (required)Bachelor’s degree (preferred)At least 1-3 years of relevant and aligned experience (required)A full understanding and Commitment to an Exceptional Student Experience (more about that HERE) (required)Track record of providing outstanding customer service (required)FlexibilityAbility to manage data and communication through various Google and Outlook platformOutstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail;
