Telemetry experience

Description :

This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry.

You will be working on a combined unit and must have experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

You should be able to manage higher acuity patients effectively.

You will need to float as required and may work on holidays.

Mandatory competencies include BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications, with ACLS preferred.

Key skills required include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.

You will also manage cardiac drips without titration and be responsible for isolation precautions.

Additional duties may include peripheral line care / management and PICC line management.

The unit's daily patient census is approximately 30, with a total of 30 beds available.

Expect to work with interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

You may encounter a variety of patient diagnoses such as COPD exacerbation, arrhythmias, sepsis, and renal failure.

Candidates must be comfortable floating within the hospital based on experience.

You will be required to have 2 satisfactory professional references from recent employers.

This role involves working with adult patients and requires a commitment to high-quality care.
