• Summary

THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION

We are seeking an energetic, independent RF test team lead to aid in testing of our products. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing our sub-assemblies and / or top-level systems based on requirements and specification as well as teaching / working with other members of the team. • Responsibilities
• Lead the team with demonstrated leadership, accountability and ownership
• Application and enforcement of companys policies, rules and regulations.
• Promotes effective communication to staff, peers and management.
• Responsible for meeting production requirements.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure all required resources are available to sustain production needs while maintaining quality standards, safety requirements, and production deadlines.
• Test and trouble-shoot a wide range of RF amplifiers and / or subcomponents.
• Provide technical support for production.
• Tune and / or optimize RF amplifiers and sub-components.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Provide logging of all troubles / issues and first pass yield (FPY).
• Qualifications
• Proficient in understanding RF theory and frequency ranges within KU, KA, C, and X-band
• Proficient in lab equipment (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter, LABVIEW, etc.).
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and must demonstrate ability to fulfill the responsibilities listed above.
• Must be able to read drawings, test procedures and schematics to build and test product.
• Knowledge in operation of signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and network analyzers
• Must be familiar with standard bench top equipment including power supplies, volt meters, oscilloscopes, DC programmable loads, solder irons, microscope etc.
• ESD (electro-static discharge) knowledge and training
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong initiative, teamwork, time management and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

This position is considered safety-sensitive under FAA regulations and requires the successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Specific duties include Aircraft maintenance and preventive maintenance, which are considered safety-sensitive functions under FAA Part 120.
