Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Slitter Operator role in Woodland, WA. Key Responsibilities :

Operate, monitor, and maintain slitter machinery to ensure precise cutting and efficient production operations.
Set up and adjust slitter equipment according to job specifications, ensuring accurate material processing.
Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment in compliance with industry standards (e.g., OSHA, GMPs).
Load and unload raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper handling and accurate inventory tracking.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot operational challenges.
Accurately document production processes, material usage, and equipment performance data.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of slitter equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in manufacturing or operating slitter machinery is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

Flexibility to work swing shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and guidelines is a plus, but training will be provided.
