This Position reports to :

R&D Engineer

As an intern you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABBs operations and enhancing personal education / employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is onsite / hybrid in Memphis TN .

Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements.

You will be mainly accountable for :

Engage in product material compliance activities.

Verify accuracy of certification records.

Coordinate and execute certification projects.

Prepare certification document packages to support the product compliance.

Assist electrical / mechanical design engineers in determining compliance requirements for products.

Update certification databases with product information.

Provide Support for product certification.

Coordinate compliance information with suppliers via supply chain engineering and product management.

Qualifications for the role :

Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in mechanical engineering chemical engineering or related fields in the United States.

Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipnow and in the future.

Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.

Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.

Collaborate with team members to convey ideas share information and provide updates on project progress.

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
