  • 2025 : 10 weeks

Shift / Call Schedule : Mon-Mon; 7a-7a

  • 9 hrs clinical : Consultations, Clinical Rounding, Urgent IP procedures & scheduled OP procedures.
  • 15 hrs : On-call

    • Call Type : Beeper

    Call Ratio : 1 : 5

    Call Response Time : 20 mins.

    Callback : 20%

    Phone Consults : 10-20

    Patient Volume : 10-15

    Admissions Required : Yes

    Rounding Included : Yes

    Support Staff : 4 RNs & 1 Office Staff

    Required Procedures :

  • Upper GI endoscopy : with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder, With injection of varices.
  • Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy : Flexible
  • Colonoscopy : with biopsy, with excision of polyp

    • Beds in the Dept : 200

    Trauma Level : II

    EMR : Epic

    Other Info : Hospitalist admit w / GI Consult

    Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

    Requirements :

    Active ID License or IMLC

    BC

    ACLS, BLS
