Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available at a high school setting in Hialeah, FL for the upcoming school year. This onsite contract position focuses on supporting students from 6th through 12th grade by delivering specialized speech and language services tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders among adolescent students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications :
Valid Florida Speech Language Pathologist License.Experience working with middle and high school-aged students preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.Ability to manage a caseload consisting of students in grades 6-12.Location : Onsite position based in Hialeah, Florida.
