Job descriptionDescription : The RN provides clinical leadership to the neighborhoods ensuring the mission, vision, and values of the organization are supported through the clinical services of the neighborhoods. Participates in planning, organizing, directing, and facilitating clinical operations to ensure regulatory compliance, support a person-centered culture, and promote team learning. Provides professional nursing assessments, evaluations, and coordinates resident care with other nursing staff. Essential Key Job Responsibilities : Provides leadership to clinical staff across households in specified areas of clinical accountability (e.g., infection control, safety, wound management, RAI process). Guides implementation of clinical policies and procedures ensuring safe, sanitary, and efficient practices aligned with professional nursing standards. Ensures documentation, medication administration, resident care, safety, sanitation, staff development, RAI / MDS assessments, quality care, and resident rights comply with facility / government standards. Supports organizational fiscal viability through effective resource use, maintaining clinical staffing and patterns consistent with philosophy, objectives, and resources. Fosters collaboration, consensus, and negotiation for problem-solving in the household; ensures all clinical policies and procedures are maintained, interpreted, and communicated as needed. Maintains professional relationships with physicians, medical professionals, other LifeCare departments, and external providers. Dementia Sensitivity : Demonstrates and nurtures care practices that meet the needs of persons with dementia while promoting individualized, person-centered care and well-being. Performs other duties as assigned.
