About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12 hour day shift

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 3 years of Med-Surg background with critical thinking skills

License : Active AK state RN license

Certifications : Heart Saver AED Certification, BLS Certification (must be AHA)

Must-Have : 3 years of Med-Surg experience, experience with EPIC charting

Description :

Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process.

Utilizes principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Adheres to standards of nursing practice.

Familiarity with Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations is required.

Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care in a Med-Surg environment.

Must be able to work every other weekend and follow departmental procedures.

On-call assignments may be required as needed.

Completion of medication testing within the first two weeks on site is necessary.
