Product and Supplier Quality Engineer, Continuous Improvement

Your Challenge

Under the guidance of the Quality Leader, you will safeguard design / process compatibility across existing parts and products while partnering with Supplier Quality Engineers, Product Engineering, and Purchasing to evaluate the capability of current and potential suppliers. Your work helps launch components smoothly, sustain process control, and provide the data leaders need to make informed decisions.

Work Location & Hours

Ripon, WI. 2nd shift schedule : Monday–Thursday, 3 : 00pm to 1 : 00am.

How You’ll Contribute

• Diagnose and Stabilize : Conduct problem analysis and run process / machine capability studies.
• Control What Matters : Develop and recommend statistical process controls for supplier processes in collaboration with the Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Resolve and Improve : Track supplier quality and productivity issues through to resolution.
• Equip the Operation : Specify and procure inspection and test equipment for assigned production areas.
• Lead People : Supervise quality process control and audit personnel as assigned.
• Document Rigorously : Maintain test and audit documentation in alignment with engineering specifications.
• Monitor Performance : Maintain torque verification and process control monitoring activities.
• Launch with Confidence : Work with the Supplier Quality Engineer to support new design introduction by generating test and audit documentation that meets engineering requirements.
• Collaborate to Launch : Serve on the process review team to help Product Engineering introduce purchased and manufactured components.
• Inform Decisions : Provide rejected and warranty data to the management team for analysis.
