At Dental Care at Verandah, our office is growing! This is a general dentistry office in Fort Myers, FL looking for a full-time Dental Front Office - Business Assistant to our team. Previous dental office and dental insurance experience is a needed.
Work Schedule : Tuesday-Friday 7 : 30 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m. Must be flexible for Mondays occasionally.

Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a great first impression of our teamManage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companiesUtilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and recordsSchedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the officeFile patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits and explanation of coveragePost insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivablesReview treatment plan fees and payment options with patientsPartner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potentialWhat You’ll Gain

1+ year of dental front office experienceExperience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsThe position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.Preferred Experience
1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivableDentrix or other dental software experiencePhysical Requirements :
