Shop Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can stay organized, and values teamwork in a busy shop environment.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
• Support the repair team with disassembly, parts organization, cleaning, and preparation for repair projects
• Safely use hand tools and shop equipment to assist with daily tasks
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including handling packages up to 60 lbs
• Provide customer service support, including professional phone communication
• Willing to be trained in forklift operation and adhere to safety standards

Qualifications :

• Ability to follow directions and perform a variety of hands-on tasks
• Comfortable using tools and eager to learn new skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Team player with a positive, reliable work ethic
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs as needed
• Pass Physical and drug screening (including marijuana)
• Live within 30 mins of Walled Lake, MI
• Dependable transportation
• Basic math skills
