Job descriptionProvide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment Perform therapeutic procedures, such as I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound care Document and chart patient information in line with current policies and procedures Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions Refer patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate Order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviation from normal Perform other duties, as needed 1+ years of experience in an Emergency Department and / or Urgent Care or Primary Care role / setting Licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut Board Eligible / Certified
An Urgent Care Clinic in Fairfield CT is currently seeking a licensed Urgent Care Physician to join their growing team!
About the Opportunity :
- Onsite
- Open to EM and FM backgrounds
- 3-4 shifts per week.
- 1-2 weekend shifts per month
