Job Summary Senior Network Engineer (Palo Alto SME)

• Design, implement, and maintain Palo Alto firewall stacks and global network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage secure connectivity between data centers, trading partners, and offices.
• Collaborate with the security team on network controls, safety policies, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance, especially in a live trading environment.
• Document network topology and changes ; maintain accurate configurations and records.
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotation for network and security support.
• Support both network engineering and security initiatives , ensuring operational and infrastructure needs are met.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Palo Alto Networks technology within the organization.
• Work onsite in NYC at least 3 days per week in a hybrid capacity.
• Engage with cross-functional teams (security, server platforms, systems administration) throughout the project lifecycle.
