Process Engineer

Aegis is partnered with a growing manufacturing operation in Alsip, IL who is looking for a Process Engineer to support production, equipment improvements, and new product development at a modern, clean, FDA-regulated facility. This role is perfect for a new or early-career Mechanical Engineer who wants broad exposure, hands-on problem-solving, and the chance to make a real impact quickly.

What You'll Do

• Work cross-functionally with production, quality, R&D, and engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues on the production floor.
• Improve workflows, processes, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Use SolidWorks to redesign or reverse engineer parts, including older or discontinued components.
• Support equipment implementation and various ongoing engineering projects.
• Complete documentation in an FDA-regulated environment (SOPs, validations, reports).
