Professional Tutor

Position Summary

Provide support to students in subject matter . Reporting Relationship Direct reporting relationship to the Director of Student Success Center. Essential Responsibilities

• Provide support to students in subject matter via group and/or individual tutor.
• Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree in discipline or similar area.
• Two years’ teaching or tutoring experience.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to relate to diverse student body.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in discipline or similar area.
• Experience teaching or tutoring at a community college

Anticipated Work Hours and Days Varies.
