Job Purpose
As a Product Specialist on the Honda Digital Marketing team, this position is responsible for the production, development, and maintenance of core sections of American Hondas digital properties, including the Honda Automobiles, Honda Corporate, and Honda Racing websites. With over 60 million visits per year, these websites are primary sources of information for consumers, and core to AHMs digital marketing strategy.
Key responsibilities include project management, production and development of compelling digital content to support AHMs digital marketing strategy, including driving awareness, engagement and consideration of Honda vehicles, and converting upper-funnel shoppers into qualified leads.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage key model landing pages, content / asset updates, website maintenance activities to support vehicle launches, sales promotions and brand initiatives, ensuring that launch strategy, business requirements and KPI goals are effectively communicated to agency partners, and that the brand is portrayed in the most compelling way possible.
- Collaborate with internal Divisions (e.g., CX, IT, Sales, Service), Departments (e.g., Advertising, PR, Product Planning, Social Media), and third-party agencies, to support key brand initiatives and business objectives, ensuring content accuracy and proper representation on the website.
- Support digital marketing team in managing workflows and identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, speed up decision-making, and reduce delays through effective use of project management tools, marketing technologies, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of all content updates and site enhancements to ensure successful launch with minimal defects.
- Provide content authoring and project management support to Digital Marketing team.
- Manage digital marketing projects in Jira. Ensure that project requirements are clearly documented, tasks and dependencies are tracked, and timelines and resources are aligned with business objectives. Manage project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery within budget and while supporting teams in tracking progress.
- Manage content calendar to support timeline website updates.
- Support website personalization strategies to enhance user experiences and drive conversions. Support digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that personalized, data-driven strategies are integrated across digital platforms to meet business goals.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelors Degree in relevant fieldMinimum 0-2 years in a digital marketing, website management, email marketing, marketing communications or similar field. Auto experience or interest is a plusStrong project management skills, able to take on multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with inter-departmental teams and agencies to achieve project objectivesStrategic mindset with high attention to detailAgency experience or Agency / vendor management skillsUnderstanding of UX / UI design principles is helpful Understanding of website development and content management tools a plus (hands-on experience not required, but helpful)Content Management System (CMS) experience a plusFamiliarity with SEO / SEM, digital media a plusFamiliarity with web analytics and performance optimizationsKnowledge of Adobe Analytics helpfulFamiliarity with Agile project framework a plusFlexibility and adaptabilityWorking Conditions
