Contract Compliance Manager
You will develop and execute comprehensive contract compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
You will review procurement reporting systems and contract writing systems to identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions to ensure accurate and timely contract reporting.
You will lead a team, assigning tasks based on workload priorities, skill levels, and operational requirements.
You will ensure the team meets deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
You will represent the team in discussions with the supervisor regarding resources, staffing needs, and operational requirements.
You will resolve simple, informal employee complaints and refer complex issues (e.g., grievances, appeals) to the appropriate management or HR officials.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and / or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
This is a bargaining unit position.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following :
Experience in contract law and legal precedents as it relates to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS), or similar.
Experience with extensive knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, cost accounting systems, and contractor claims avoidance and settlement techniques as the apply to naval vessel repair or similar.
Experience reviewing contractor proposals, managing contract modifications, and overseeing contractor performance.
Experience training and / or coaching employees on contract policy.
Experience creating, maintaining, and updating policies and procedures for contract administration.
