As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Fri 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Sat 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a security-related presence
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols
  • Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns
  • Remain alert and attentive while on patrol to identify potential security-related risks or hazards in the environment

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
