Controller Position
We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and reporting for our organization in Manchester, New Hampshire. This is a contract position where you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate month-end closings, and supervising a dedicated team.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals to achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Utilize Microsoft Great Plains software to streamline and optimize financial processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and support decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all financial activities.
