  • Other details : The facility which is trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 10-15 patients per shift. Coverage needed for Hematology / Oncology starting from January 5, 2026, through January 15, 2026 (ending 8 a.m. January 16), with potential ongoing assignments. The schedule is for two consecutive weeks per month, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional night and weekend call. The practice consists of four providers one physician and three APPs and operates in a collegial and supportive environment with a 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient mix. The target patient load is per day, and call is 1 : 2 with minimal phone-only calls. The office uses ONCO EMR and offers strong support including an onsite genetic counselor, weekly tumor board, tumor registry with two CTRs, and a research department with a dedicated oncology research associate. The facility shares space with radiation oncology and includes a multidisciplinary team with nurses, navigators, pharmacists, lab and administrative staff, and leadership support. The program maintains national accreditations from ACOS CoC, NAPBC, and ACR ROPA. Providers are assigned three rooms each, with patients roomed by RNs, and all incoming clinical calls handled by a triage nurse. The office operates 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with new consults scheduled for 60 minutes and follow-ups for 30 minutes. Rounding on inpatients is typically performed by APPs, as the hospitalist group admits patients and oncology is consulted as needed; the practice is primarily outpatient with no inductions completed onsite.
