The Director of Facilities Operations will oversee the management of all hard and soft services across the site, including maintenance, grounds, preventive and predictive programs, and property infrastructure. This role includes managing internal teams, subcontractors, and skilled trades while ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and budget accountability. Acting as the main point of contact for internal and client stakeholders, this leader will build strong relationships, drive alignment, and deliver measurable operational results.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Oversee workplace services, including maintenance, asset planning, energy management, and EHS compliance.
- Direct both self-performed and subcontracted services, ensuring strong contractor management and operational oversight.
- Drive financial performance by managing budgets, forecasts, and cost controls aligned with operational goals.
- Collaborate with company leadership and clients on contracts, scope, and strategic facilities planning.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules, vendor performance, and CMMS systems such as SAP or Maximo to meet KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and building standards while maintaining facility excellence.
- Supervise hiring, training, and professional development for facilities staff and management teams.
- Oversee construction projects and additional services, including groundskeeping, security, food, laundry, and mail.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of progressive leadership experience in facilities management, preferably in life sciences, corporate, or highly regulated environments.Proven experience managing multi-service facilities operations, including both internal and subcontracted services.Strong financial and operational acumen with success in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with CMMS systems (SAP / Maximo) and maintenance management.Preferred :
Experience in GMP-compliant or life sciences facilities.Track record of successfully leading large teams and multi-service operations.Why Join Us :
