We are seeking a System Administrator to support the 432nd Support Squadron / Civil Engineer Flight (SPTS / CE) Unmanned Mission Control Station (UMCS) at Creech Air Force Base (AFB), Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Maintain UMCS Infrastructure.
• Secure UMCS Infrastructure.
• UMCS Cybersecurity Policies.
• Troubleshoot UMCS Infrastructure.
• Support and Training.
• Maintain UMCS Infrastructure Details

Hardware and Software Maintenance : Regularly update and patch Level 4 device and frontend software to ensure it runs smoothly and securely.

Conduct regular system backups and ensure they are stored securely and in accordance with AFCEC selected NIST 800-53r4 Security Controls.

Document and manage configurations for all UMCS components in accordance with the UMCS Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and Change Control Board (CCB) charter.

Secure UMCS Infrastructure

Implement and manage user access controls to prevent unauthorized access in accordance with UMCS System Policy Document(s) (SPD).

Collect and review security logs with ISSO and ISSM to detect any signs of suspicious activity or potential threats.

UMCS Cybersecurity Policies

Troubleshoot UMCS Infrastructure

Monitor system performance and identify any issues.
