WSP is initiating a search for a Part-Time or Full-Time Traffic Engineering Technical Director in our Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA office. Engage in projects with our Pacific Northwest Traffic & Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client\'s objectives and solves their challenges.

WSP is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer who is innovative, results-oriented, and team focused. The Traffic Engineering Technical Director will bring leadership and skills to help grow our business, oversee project delivery and staff development, and provide technical assistance and guidance in engineering and design for our local, state and regional clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide traffic engineering technical expertise on projects.
• Lead traffic focused projects. Lead traffic tasks on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Collaborate with business unit leads to assist with business development opportunities and to ensure excellence in overall project delivery.
• Leverage client relationships to cross-sell services of WSP.
• Foster technical development and mentoring of staff.
• Participate in professional societies and conference programs including committees, panels, papers, and presentations.
• Remain current in the latest traffic engineering techniques and practices.
• Assure that engineering services lead the industry in professional standards, client requirements, budget controls, cost control, quality control, and project objectives.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Compensation : Expected Salary (all locations) : $147,200 - $218,570
