Behavior Analyst in Training

Overview

Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family. Specifically, we focus on integrated autism care and a play-based model of applied behavior analysis (ABA) based on the principles of the Early Start Denver Model.

This exciting opportunity is a role designed for individuals who are actively in their coursework to become a BCBA and are accruing practicum hours. The Case Supervisor role is intended to prepare an individual to be a successful BCBA upon completing their hours and passing their exam. The role will report to the Partner Clinician at the team member's specific clinic.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a case supervisor for 2-4 client cases (10-20 hours / week), set based on center needs and program progress
• Update client goals and programming, utilizing our electronic data collection platform
• Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs
• Participate in ESDM specific trainings, growing your clinical skillset
• Write Behavior Intervention Plans, utilizing the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill Based Treatment (SBT)
• Training and coaching to be provided
• Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, utilizing Soar's in-house curriculum
• Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re-assessments for established clients, including training on the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist
• Receive coaching and feedback from Partner Clinician and other BCBAs in your clinic
• Be a part of the Soar integrated care team, participating in interdisciplinary meetings for collaboration with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
• Conduct direct client therapy (15-25 hours / week), set based on center needs and program progress
