Surgical Nurse - Night Shift

Location

Position located in a Level I Trauma Center with a robust surgical department.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, including 2-8-hour shifts and 2-12-hour shifts per week. Required to be on call for 4 hours weekly with a 30-minute response time. Occasional weekends and holidays may be required.

Job Description

This surgical nursing position involves working in a fast-paced environment within a day surgery center located inside a hospital. The unit handles a variety of surgical specialties including ENT, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and Urology. Responsibilities include assisting with efficient surgical turnover and ensuring patient safety during surgery.
