Job descriptionUT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, and non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. High School graduate or GED. Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment. 1 year previous hospital pharmacy technician experience. National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment). Current BLS.
