Job Summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to join our Public Institutions (PI) Advisory group. This position plays a critical role in supporting JLL's sales enablement by coordinating the end-to-end proposal development and submission process for public agencies and education institutions. The Proposal Manager will collaborate with subject matter experts, design teams, project managers, and sales teams to create persuasive and visually appealing proposals that align with our clients' missions.

This position is available in Austin, San Diego, Chicago, Washington DC, Los Angeles, or Denver, although strong candidates from other locations may be considered. The role allows for remote work for the majority of work hours, with some in-person time required for collaboration, learning, and relationship building.

Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage the complete proposal development process, from reviewing RFP / RFQ documentation to final submission.
• Develop and manage proposal schedules, including milestones, task assignments, and review deadlines with technical leadership.
• Leverage existing proposal content and AI to create client-focused first drafts that address RFP requirements.
• Write, edit, and proofread persuasive proposal sections, ensuring content is compliant, consistent, accurate, and clear.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and business leads to gather information and develop bespoke content.
• Work closely with graphic designers to create visually appealing layouts, charts, and diagrams that align with brand guidelines and enhance the proposal's message.
• Participate in the go / no-go evaluation process by assessing resources and outlining pursuit schedules.
• Assist in crafting competitive analyses and developing winning strategies to enhance project award likelihood.
• Maintain a comprehensive library of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and graphics.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on final proposals to ensure they are error-free and meet all requirements before submission.

Estimated compensation for this position : 93,960.00 115,000.00 USD per year. This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
