Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Nursery\n\nLocation : Virginia\nShift : 7p | Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 | Weekend Hours : 7p–7a\nTrauma Level : Level 3 OB\n\nOverview : \n\nClinch Valley Medical Center is a 175-bed acute care hospital with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes. This role provides care in Labor & Delivery (L&D), Nursery, and Postpartum units, with float requirements as needed based on census. The OB unit typically has less than 15 deliveries per month.\n\nPosition Details : \n\nRole : RN\n\nSpecialty : OB – Labor & Delivery, Nursery\n\nNumber of Openings : 2 L&D, 2 Nursery\n\nCall Requirements : None\n\nEHR : Meditech\n\nSupervisor : Bevin Sedgwick\n\nPatient Population : Level 3 OB\n\nRequirements : \n\nExperience : Minimum 1–1.5 years; OB L&D and Nursery experience preferred\n\nCertifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (or higher), STABLE (for Nursery)\n\nFloat : Must float to Nursery and Postpartum if units are closed due to census\n\nUnit Information : \n\nBeds : 3 L&D, 9 OB, 14 Nursery, 3 Intermediate Nursery\n\nPatient Ratios : Per A1 Guidelines\n\nEquipment : Standard OB unit equipment\n\nIdeal Candidate : \n\nSkilled in general OB, L&D, and Nursery care\n\nComfortable working in low-volume, high-quality care settings\n\nTeam player with strong patient safety focus and flexibility to float
