Job Description :

Acute care pediatric RN accountable for the assessment, coordination delivery and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient / family education and transitions of care in an acute patient setting.

Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area.

Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors.

Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family / support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.

Requirements : - BLS (AHA)- CA RN Licensure- PALS- 2 years of experience in PEDS- APHON

Shift : 3x12s, 0700-1930; weekend rotation included, no on call requirements

All certs must be AHA and in hand at the time of the submittal Specific Charting Exp. Required - Epic experience preferred Background Policy to be noted prior to submission please state if they have any BG hits or DUIs. They just need to know prior to submission.

Return Staff Policy - gone 1 yr to return as traveler Floating : Travelers may float to other CPMC locations if census is low on home unit.

Modules : Modules are non-billable, average 1-5 hours spent on modules and are factored in NBO. Any time spent on modules exceeding the 16 NBO hours are billable Modules are completed during orientation, and module hours vary by specialty Modules are recorded through e-learning.
