Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Invoicer & Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting department to create and maintain accurate invoices, financial records and ensure the company's compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include invoicing, recording and verifying transactions, maintaining & completing various legal forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a basic understanding of best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities
Enter invoices, financial data and transactions in Quickbooks accuratelyProcess accounts payable and accounts receivableMaintain records, either physical or electronic, of business transactionsPrepare & contibute to company reports via Quickbooks & ExcelCreate accurate spreadsheets in Microsoft ExcelProcess incoming paperwork, make photocopies, and file paperworkAssist the Accounting department with various office and adminstrative tasksMaintain an organized filing systemDrop off / Pick up and sort mail - distribute it to the appropriate departmentsDevelop, update, and maintain relevant office proceduresQualifications
Previous experience as an invoicer, bookkeeper, or similar positionKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Understanding of basic bookkeeping principlesSkilled in usage of Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Google Sheets and basic accounting systemsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projectsJ-18808-Ljbffr
