Job Summary

The Program Manager will report to the Associate Director Finance and Administration, and will work strategically and collaboratively with the PI, faculty, staff and students from the University and external stakeholders. This is a one-year contract, renewable contingent on availability of funding and positive performance reviews. This position will be based on the Boston campus of Northeastern University with some local travel required.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

WIoT seeks a Program Manager to support its ongoing grant-funded projects and related post-award tasks. The successful candidate will lead as a Program Manager for a range of project activities including :

• Monitoring the project progress towards milestones and submitting all documents required by the sponsor and the university.
• Providing support for the management of project reports, presentations, other deliverables, and grant related material.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the project, including the operating budget and resourcing needs.
• Assisting faculty in structuring phases of the project into tasks and subtasks, the development of internal processes and adherence with university policies and procedures.
• Coordinating project-related activities and fostering strong relationships with various teams across the university.
• Assisting faculty in developing project proposals, meeting proposal preparation deadlines, and assisting in defining management plans.

The position requires a dynamic individual who can work well in a busy environment that requires multitasking and friendly and professional interactions with a wide range of individuals.

Compensation Grade / Pay Type : 107S

Expected Hiring Range : $52,820.00 - $74,607.50

With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
