Test Coordinator / Project Execution Consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite, 5 days/week; flexibility may be considered based on performance)
Duration: 6‑month contract with potential extension
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Test Coordinator / Project Execution Consultant to support enterprise‑level, cross‑application testing initiatives. This role requires strong coordination, planning, and communication skills to ensure high‑quality delivery across multiple teams and workstreams. You will collaborate closely with technology and business partners to drive structured testing execution, identify risks, and keep stakeholders aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
This role operates within a contingent resource assignment focused on complex, large‑scale Systems Quality Assurance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee end‑to‑end testing activities across multiple applications, teams, and workstreams.
- Develop and manage test plans, schedules, milestones, and key deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align on testing requirements, timelines, and dependencies.
- Produce clear, actionable reporting and dashboards for leadership using Confluence, Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Provide structured project oversight, ensuring risks, issues, and key milestones are proactively managed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, documentation, and execution practices.
- Support complex Systems Quality Assurance initiatives requiring in‑depth evaluation, compliance awareness, and strategic partnership with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent through consulting, training, military experience, or education.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating testing for cross‑application or enterprise‑scale programs.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, tracking, and milestone delivery.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (reporting, dashboards) and PowerPoint (leadership presentations).
- Hands‑on experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking, documentation, and defect management.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to assess complex challenges, evaluate multiple factors, and provide thoughtful recommendations.
