Overview

We are a small group of scientists, engineers, and programmers shifting the paradigm in permanent magnet electric motor design. Our patented, patent-pending, and continuously growing technology allows us to vary the flux flowing from the rotor magnets and change the resistance and ampacity of the stator coils while the motor or generator is running, thereby widening the power and efficiency ranges of our electric motors and generators. Responsibilities

Contribute to design, development, testing, and optimization of power electronic systems for electric motors and generators.
Design, simulate, and lay out PCBs for high-power electronic applications; participate in population and testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance motor control and magnetics technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of power electronics experience including :

Knowledge of 3-phase power, AC and DC electric motors, motor controllers, and control of power electronic systems

PCB design, simulation, and population

Familiarity with MOSFETs, IGBTs, FPGAs, and I2C

Building and testing high-power electronic systems

Strong interpersonal, leadership and communications skills with emphasis on team goals and attention to detail
