Twin City Staffing is hiring a skilled machinist / CNC operator for a 2nd shift direct-hire opportunity in Anoka, MN! This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on precision work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and are looking to grow in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Location : Anoka, MN

Wage : $29.17 – $37.36 / hr (based on experience)

Hours : 2nd shift : Monday – Thursday, 3 : 00 pm – 1 : 30 am

Duties of the machinist / CNC operator :

Set up and operate various types of conventional and CNC machines and machining centers

Inspect parts using gauges and precision measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications

Ensure quality and productivity standards are met and maintained

Report and troubleshoot machine or process issues as they arise

Participate in continuous improvement practices such as 5S, Kaizen, and other efficiency initiatives

Follow safety guidelines and promote a clean, organized work area

Use measuring tools such as micrometers, dial or digital calipers, and indicators

Collaborate with team members to meet production and delivery goals

Requirements of the machinist / CNC operator :

High school diploma or equivalent (two-year technical degree preferred)

Experience operating CNC machines and using inspection devices

Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fixtures

Ability to read blueprints and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Basic computer and ERP system knowledge

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
