We're currently seeking a Director of Marketing for our Mosaic Hotel Collection brand. This position is a hybrid schedule with some work from home flexibility; 2 days in our home office located in Mill Valley, CA and expected on property presence monthly to oversee marketing execution; increased property time for key pre-opening events. POSITION SUMMARY :

The Director of Marketing, Mosaic Hotel Collection plays a key role in shaping and amplifying the identity of our hotels and on-site restaurants, with a strong focus on pre-opening strategy, brand storytelling, and cross-channel execution. This role leads day-to-day marketing efforts, drives digital and on-property initiatives, and collaborates closely with property teams and third-party partners to ensure cohesive, high-impact brand presence and revenue performance.

The ideal candidate brings experience launching new hotels, managing integrated marketing programs, and guiding specialized consultants across PR, digital, social, and creative disciplines.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES :

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong ability to distill and articulate strategy.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage third-party vendors and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong personal leadership with excellent organizational, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, service-driven environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated judgment, discretion, and composure under pressure

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 6-8 years of related work experience, hospitality industry experience required
  • Restaurant and hotel hospitality marketing experience (local and multi-unit brand) and third-party consultant management required
  • Ability to travel on occasion to visit properties, manage photo / video shoots, meet with contacts in each market and drive marketing agendas
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, marketing or related major is preferred but not required
