ABOUT THE ROLE

The Omni-Channel Associate Planner is responsible for managing product replenishment, lifecycle decisions, and inventory flow across both retail and e-commerce channels. This role analyzes sales performance, recommends assortment adjustments, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time. The Associate Planner will take ownership of replenishment for core and fashion in e-commerce, and core only in retail, identify items to be discontinued, and drive actions to optimize in-stock levels and sell-through in both channels. Reporting to the Manager of Replenishment, the Associate Planner will collaborate closely with Buying, Retail Planning, and Retail Analysts to execute allocation and replenishment strategies that support financial and operational goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Assortment Lifecycle Management

  • Execute replenishment strategies across all channels (e-commerce, stores, and B2B) based on historical performance, current trends, and future forecasts.
  • Identify underperforming items and recommend discontinuation to the buyer based on sales trends, vendor updates, and lifecycle stage.
  • Monitor vendor communications for discontinued products; ensure timely updates to assortments and inventory plans.
  • Manage status assignments in AX for e-commerce and use that as a guide for managing retail SKU lifecycle strategy.
  • Recommend to buyers when new items should be considered for addition to the assortment based on sales trends, market insights, and channel needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and drive replenishment decisions to ensure optimal stock levels by SKU, location, and channel.
  • Complete size breaks for both channels on new items.
  • Partner with Buying teams to understand product lifecycle, promotional cadence, and new product launches.

Replenishment Inventory Flow

  • Manage replenishment of core and fashion SKUs for e-commerce, managing HFC’s and ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and seasonal trends.
  • Manage replenishment of core SKUs for retail, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and seasonal trends.
  • Partner with retail planning and allocation teams to recommend when SKUs should be removed from store minimums or adjusted based on performance.
  • Cross-Channel Analysis Collaboration

  • Conduct weekly sales and inventory performance analysis to identify opportunities and risks in both channels.
  • Collaborate with retail analysts on go-forward strategies.
  • Communicate recommendations to buyers, including discontinuation rationale, replenishment needs, and potential assortment gaps.
  • Participate in vendor meetings to align replenishment, discontinuation, and new product introductions across channels.
  • Reporting Communication

  • Maintain accurate replenishment reports and stock status updates.
  • Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations in cross-functional meetings.
  • Proactively flag risks to inventory health, including overstocks, stockouts, and vendor supply issues.
  • WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting software, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Ability to interpret sales and inventory data to make sound decisions.

    Understanding of a retail product assortment, breadth and depth, promotional pricing, entrance and exit strategies

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with solid Excel skills

    Retail Math experience

    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

    Microsoft Dynamics AX- ERP system knowledge preferred

    Organization skills- ability to manage time, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and complete all assigned tasks

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • BS / BA Degree – Business, Merchandising, Analytics, Planning

    Have the flexibility to work on-site / in the business and remotely during the week. You’ll spend a few days a week in our office for collaboration / in-person engagement and have the flexibility to work from home on other days.
