We are looking for an experienced Cost & Inventory Manager to join our team in Maitland, Florida. In this role, you will oversee procurement and inventory processes for a healthcare organization supporting over 150 clinics through shared services. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and expertise in managing inventory operations and staff.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and guide a team responsible for procurement tasks, including purchase order management and corrections.
- Monitor inventory levels, addressing excess and obsolete stock to optimize resources.
- Coordinate incoming deliveries to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.
- Conduct annual physical inventory and reconciliation processes to maintain accurate records.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline inventory management and procurement workflows.
- Oversee cost accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Implement and enforce procedures to maintain compliance with organizational standards.
- Train and mentor staff to enhance team performance and knowledge.
- Prepare reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost accounting and inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory analysis and reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with conducting annual physical inventory and maintaining accurate records.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software.
