The opportunity:

The Car Wash Manager is responsible for overall day-to-day operations and profitability of the car wash and those tasks essential to car wash operations.

Responsibilities:

Motivates, encourages, and effectively challenges all car wash and store employees.

Performs management duties as assigned or in the Store Manager's absence.

Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.

Scrub, scrape, or spray machine parts, equipment, or vehicles, using scrapers, brushes, clothes, cleaners, disinfectants, insecticides, acid, abrasives, vacuums, or hoses.

Apply paints, dyes, polishes, preconditioner's, waxes, or masking materials to vehicles to preserve, protect, or restore color or condition.

Maintain inventories of supplies.

Monitor operation of cleaning machines and stop machines or notify supervisors when malfunctions occur.

Employee must demonstrate safe work and risk management practices and report all safety and security issues.

Ensure that confidentiality of data collected and stored are maintained.

Must complete all duties as assigned.

Assists in directing and prioritizing work of store personnel.

Motivates, encourages, and effectively challenges employees.

Assists Store Manager with recruiting, hiring and training store employees.

Assists with ensuring all employees deliver excellent customer service.

Resolves customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.

Enforces daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked and organized.

Prepares food & drinks.

Maintains a safe work environment including performing loss prevention duties.

Properly cleans and maintains equipment.

Assures proper sale and accounting for all products.

Other duties as assigned.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.

Ability to work at a fast pace and in varying outdoor climates and in-store cooler environments.

Physical ability to complete required duties, including standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and walking for long periods of time.

Must be age 19 years or older in order to sell tobacco and alcohol.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Positive outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills.

Able to operate an electronic cash register and computer and perform simple arithmetic calculations.

Proficient verbal & written communication skills.
