THE ROLE
The Director of Recruiting – Live Nation Venues will manage talent acquisition strategy and execution across Live Nation’s U.S. owned and operated venues. This role is responsible for building a scalable, high impact recruiting function that supports leadership, operations, hospitality, production, and more for over 150 venues nationwide. Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, this leader will collaborate closely with Venue Nation leadership, field HR partners, and hiring managers to ensure the division is staffed with top-tier talent to deliver exceptional fan experiences. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, operational rigor, and hands-on leadership.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- This role will design and execute the overall talent acquisition strategy for Live Nation Venues, including leadership and specialty roles.
- The Director will lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of recruiters to deliver best-in-class hiring outcomes.
- They will partner with venue operations, department leaders, and HR to forecast workforce needs and develop proactive hiring plans.
- They will build scalable recruiting processes, interview frameworks, and selection tools to ensure consistency and compliance across all venues.
- They will implement data-driven dashboards and metrics to track time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, diversity representation, and candidate experience.
- The Director will collaborate with the VP of Recruiting, Communications and Marketing to enhance Live Nation Venues’ employer brand and candidate-facing content.
- This person will also handle and lead senior-level/ critical role searches, serving as a trusted talent advisor to executives, and leverage technology including ATS, CRM, and AI sourcing tools to improve operational efficiency and recruiter productivity.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) along with 5-8+ years of progressive recruiting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role supporting multi-location or high-volume environments.
- They will have a proven track record of building and scaling recruiting functions, including seasonal or hourly workforce hiring programs, and possess expertise with recruiting technologies such as ATS, CRM, and scheduling tools.
- They must be strongly data-oriented with the ability to analyze metrics, identify trends, and present actionable insights to executives.
- They will be exceptional at stakeholder management, able to influence and partner with leaders at all levels, and passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion, and building welcoming candidate experiences.
- Strong communication, strong internal partnerships, problem-solving, and organizational skills, combined with a bias for action, are essential.
