Atrium Health Levine Children’s ?is seeking a BC / BE Pediatric Hospital Medicine physician to join their team of 75 + providers, serving 9 Pediatric Hospitalist locations in the greater Charlotte area. This is a fabulous opportunity to join our dynamic team and work our regional children’s hospital in Concord.

Position details : ?

• Schedule of 11 shifts at Jeff Gordon Children’s Center / month
• Shifts are usually bundled to 3-4 days in a row. Nighttime JGCC shifts are 6p-7a
• This will be an inpatient role, including cross-coverage of an average of 12 to 20 inpatients, the well baby newborn nursery, doing admissions to the inpatient service, and providing ED consults at Jeff Gordon Children’s Center.
• Joining a team of 2 physician and 1 APP that round daily, with Family Practice Residents and PA student at Jeff Gordon Children’s Center.
• Weekend coverage 1 per every 3 weekends, no home call?
• Telemedicine privileges available?

Jeff Gordon Children's Center ?(JGCC) at Atrium Health Cabarrus has been designed specifically with children in mind. A 53-bed children’s hospital embedded in Atrium Health Cabarrus, it offers a wide range of services including subspecialty and progressive inpatient care as well as NICU services. Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital is committed to excellence, with a focus on family-centered pediatric care.?

Levine Children’s Hospital ?serves as the clinical training site for the CMC Pediatric Residency Program as well as medical students from the Wake Forest School of Medicine. Opportunities for faculty appointment and advancement are available through the Wake Forest School of Medicine commensurate with experience. Support for clinical research and quality improvement is available to interested candidates. The highly anticipated opening of the Wake Forest School of Medicine – Charlotte Campus in 2025 will provide additional opportunities for education, quality improvement and clinical research.?
