Work Hours (Shift) 1st Shift (6 : 00am 2 : 30pm)

Starting Pay $18-$20 Depends on Experience

Required Education High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience 2 years of forklift experience ideally in a metal fabrication shop. Experience in a fast pace environment.

Reporting to the Shipping / Receiving Supervisor, the Cycle Counter is primarily responsible for inventory cycle counting, shipping and receiving, and inventory fulfillment. This person will perform tasks such as tracking and reporting incoming and outgoing product shipments, distribution of the products during storage and order filling that depletes the stock.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Shipping / Receiving Supervisor, the Cycle Counter is primarily responsible for inventory cycle counting, shipping and receiving, and inventory fulfillment

This person will perform tasks such as tracking and reporting incoming and outgoing product shipments, distribution of the products during storage and order filling that depletes the stock

Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment : Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer

Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory

Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies

Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards

Qualifications

2+ years Inventory / Cycle Counting experience in a Production or Manufacturing environment with longevity working for one company a must

Fluency reading, writing and speaking English

Sharp attention to details

Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments

Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently

High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from is accredited institution

Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task

Strong basic math skills

Previous forklift experience

Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment
