Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a local contract nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Davenport, Iowa.

Job Description & Requirements

HIGHLIGHTS :

  • BLS certification required prior to first shift
  • ACLS required prior to first shift
  • Minimum two (2) years bedside critical care clinical experience
  • Must assume charge responsibility following orientation period as requested
  • 8-13 Week Assignment

  • Must follow all hospital guidelines outlining standards of personal appearance, attendance and punctuality
  • Must possess the skills and competencies necessary to perform job function in accordance with population served criteria

  • Job-Specific Duties include :

    • Performs nursing assessment within 8 hours of admission

  • Provides patient information for Initial Team Conference and Re-evaluation Team Conferences
  • Participates in patient rehabilitation program
  • Initiates discharge planning from day of admission
  • Communicates changes in patient's status
  • Provides direction, training and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel
  • Maintains communication with manager and senior nursing staff
  • Identifies and initiates own professional growth
  • Prioritizes activities and plans for effective use of time and staff
  • Performs other duties as requested
