Job Title : General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in rolling fiberglass inside molds and ensuring the quality of the final product. You will work collaboratively with a team of 4-5 members throughout your shift. Your responsibilities will include transporting molds for further processing and maintaining production quotas. This role requires standing for 8 hours and physical strength to lift and roll products weighing up to 40 lbs. Flexibility to assist in other areas of the plant when needed is also essential.

Responsibilities

• Roll fiberglass inside molds and ensure there are no air bubbles.
• Transport molds to the next step in the process for gel coating / painting.
• Stand for 8 hours and lift / roll products weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Maintain production quotas of 80-90 units per shift.
• Assist in other areas of the plant during staff shortages.

Work Environment

Our fiberglass plant has a distinct fiberglass smell and experiences temperature variations, being warm in the summer and cooler in the winter. The facility operates two shifts : the first shift from 4 : 50 AM to 1 PM and the second shift from 1 : 50 PM to 10 PM .

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Paris, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
