Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

OB / GYN ultrasound specialization only

Day shift schedule : Monday 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Tuesday 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM, Thursday 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM, Friday 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM

Provide healthcare services applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment

Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in OB / GYN, abdomen, neurosonology, and / or ophthalmology

Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and / or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner

Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain demeanor complementary to medical ethics

Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures

Must be a graduate of CAHEA accredited sonography program or equivalent

Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent approved certification required

Must be licensed in the State of Oregon as Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist / Sonographer

Agency nurses may be floated to other departments where qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated
