Academic Position-Cardiothoracic Surgery, Aortic Surgery Within the #1 Health System in IN

The Indiana University Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in conjunction with IU Health Medical Group invites applications for a full‑time Cardiovascular Surgeon with Fellowship training in Aortic Surgery to join our highly skilled multidisciplinary team in the Indianapolis Metro Region. Applicants should have experience in teaching residents and fellows, and passion for caring for complex cardiovascular patients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing advanced adult cardiovascular surgical operations including complex coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacement, aortic aneurysm and dissection, and transcatheter procedures. They will support and contribute to a growing practice with highly collaborative and interdependent quality systems in place for successful patient outcomes. This is a full‑time faculty position; salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience.

Job Duties

• Provide patient care in Cardiovascular Surgery and Thoracic Aortic Surgery.
• Support and contribute to a growing collaborative Academic practice, Cardiovascular Institute and the Mission of Indiana University Health and School of Medicine.
• Participate in scholarly activity, resident education, and system‑wide quality initiatives.
