What we seek : We are looking for a creative and motivated engineer who has a talent for developing powerful, reliable, and user-friendly applications. If you have years of experience and are eager to advance your expertise in Big Data and Java, you might be the perfect fit. You thrive on challenges associated with large datasets and maintain composure under pressure in fast-paced, agile environments. Your analytical skills, commitment to quality, and collaborative spirit will allow you to excel at Anywhere. Your responsibilities will include : Building high-performance, scalable data solutions that cater to millions of agents, brokers, home buyers, and sellers. Designing, developing, and testing robust data platform components. Collaborating with various teams, including product engineers, to identify their data pipeline needs and deliver innovative solutions. Working with a skilled team of engineers, product managers, and designers to define new data products and features. Required skills and experience : BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent training and experience. 5+ years of core Scala / Java experience, focusing on building business logic layers and high-volume, low-latency data pipelines. 3+ years of experience with large-scale real-time stream processing using technologies such as Apache Flink or Apache Spark, alongside messaging infrastructures like Kafka or Pulsar. 5+ years in Data Pipeline development, particularly with ETL and processing both structured and unstructured data. 3+ years of experience with NoSQL systems, such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, and relational SQL databases (PostgreSQL and Athena). Proficiency in technologies including Lambda, API Gateway, AWS Fargate, ECS, CloudWatch, S3, and DataDog. Experience in owning and implementing technical solutions or data pipelines. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. A strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.
